We recently here) have high potential of appointing new agencies within six-to-12 months. So, look for upcoming agency shifts at these companies, as well.

(Kansas City)

New Agency: Kansas City-based Barkley (effective March 1)

Scope of Work: Creative AOR

Incumbent:  MDC's CP&B was creative AOR since 2012

Additional Insight:  This shift follows Applebee's marketing overhaul this year, which occurred after the chain “hit the reset button” in 2013, said Julia Stewart, CEO of parent company DineEquity. So, a new ad direction should certainly be on the way by now, though look for millennials, particularly young couples/parents, to still be the focus. As such, entertainment and sports sellers should continue to have the advantage. For now, media planning and buying is still at

Century 21 Real Estate (Parsippany, NJ)

New Agency: Polvora Advertising

Scope of Work: Hispanic & Digital AOR

Additional Insight: Digital and TV Hispanic sellers should be all over Century 21, especially since media planning and buying recently

CÜR Media (Glastonbury, CT)

 New Agency: Publicis's DigitasLBi, NYC

Scope of Work: Strategic planning, media buying, marketing and creative support for CUR’s upcoming app launch

Additional Insight: The app's launch was slated for 2015, but it seems that has been pushed back to 2016. Sellers, this means there may still be time to secure dollars, especially since we told you in August that the company intended to increase marketing ahead of the launch (more

Firehouse Subs (Jacksonville, FL)

New Agency: Marc USA, Chicago

Scope of Work: AOR

Additional Insight: Firehouse has aggressive expansion plans over the next few years, so digital sellers who focus on millennial media should take note. Additionally, FS began running national TV ads this year, so TV sellers that focus on millennial males and sports programming should have the leg up here.  Omnicom's

GoDaddy (Scottsdale, AZ)

 New Agency: WPP's MEC

Scope of Work: Global media planning and buying AOR

Incumbent: Interpublic's here).

Additional Insight:

Hertz (Estero, FL)

 New Agency: Barrie D'Rozario DiLorenzo

Scope of Work: Creative AOR

Incumbent: Omnicom’s DDB, NY, which had handled the account for four years, according to The List.

Additional Insight: BD'D will handle the company's four principal rental car brands – Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty and Firefly – from its

Hornitos (Deerfield, IL)

 New Agency: VSA Partners

Scope of Work: Creative AOR

Additional Insight: The agency will handle TV, print, digital and social media. So, be on the lookout for a new Hornitos campaign to break in time for the summer. s such, legal drinking age (LDA) focused sellers should focus their pitch on Q2 and Q3, when tequila brands tend to run most of their advertising. Center your digital pitch on video since it makes up most of Hornitos display presence this year. Publicis's

JetBlue Credit Card (Long Island City, NY)

New Agencies: IPG's Mediahub

Scope of Work: Creative and media

Additional Insight: The card will be available in Q1, so sellers should start reaching out now for campaign revenue. Planning is most likely well underway since Mullen Lowe has been JetBlue's AOR since 2010, according to The List.

NBTY (Holbrook, NY)

New Agency: Austin & Williams

Scope of Work: Creative, including strategy, creative conceptualization, design, copywriting and print production

Additional Insight: A&W will serve as an extension of the company's in-house creative services team that supprts many of the company's brands, including Nature's Bounty, Sundown Naturals, Ester-C, Solgar, Osteo Bi-Flex and others. A&W's addition to NBTY's roster comes just three months after the vitamin giant tapped

Popchips (Playa Vista, CA)

 New Agency: David & Goliath

Scope of Work: AOR – Advertising and creative

Incumbent: Dandelion worked on Popchips first TV campaign in fall 2014

Additional Insight: Marc Seguin, who was named Popchips

Sunny Delight (Cincinnati)

New Agency: Water Cooler Group's Media Storm

Scope of Work: Media planning and buying AOR – US and Canada

Incumbent: Publicis's MediaVest, which had handled media buying and planning for 11 years, opted not to participate in the review.

Additional Insight: Sunny Delight CMO Mike Burton said that the company's goals in 2016 are to recapture its core audience – which he called “Sunny seekers.” Generally, this means millennial parents that grew up chugging Sunny D like it was water (or was that just me?). Since '90s nostalgia is everywhere these days, sellers who focus on this target audience should expect plenty of ad dollars in 2016. Sunny Delight's ad budget typically is between $20 million and $30 million a year.
