Outdoor brands are surging right now so look for the campaign and higher ad outlays to continue through at least next year. As such, sellers with high engagement rates among the A18-55 $70K-$150K+ HHI crowd should reach out now to secure potential last minute holiday revenue and begin pitching for fall 2017 dollars.

An edge should go platforms with high engagement rates among men. Keep in mind that while historically EB has mostly targeted affluent A33-55, it's been working to age down the brand and resonate with upscale millennials with disposable income to burn.

Media Spend: $1.9 million went to measured media last year, up 29% from $1.5 million during 2014. Last year, the bulk of spending - about $1 million - was on magazines. Most of the remainder went to display.

Digital Breakdown: $722,00 has gone to display since last November, 60% of which was purchased from DSP MediaMath and 37% was site direct, Pathmatics reports. Top targeted sites include espn.com, mensjournal.com and weather.com, all of which were site direct and ran on desktop and mobile.
