The PINK bunny, complete with "realistic" fur, still has his blue flip flops, sunglasses and drum. He returned to the company's marketing campaigns during New York Fashion Week. The "Bigger, Better, Bunnier" campaign will also include ads on YouTube and Spotify,along with possibly a Snapchat filter. It features the tagline "Still Going!" a nod to the "keeps going and going" tagline that debuted in 1989. 

As we’ve reported previously, Energizer's battery business has been falling for years, one reason for the EcoAdvanced, Energizer's first recycled high-performance alkaline batteries. 

WPP's MEC, NY still handles media planning and buying, but we're wondering when this business will be up for review too. Besides the split and ongoing struggles, media reviews often follow creative and vice versa.

National TV Spend: So far this year, Energizer has spent $30.8 million to air two national TV spots - "Drones" and "The Box."  See charts for 2016 show targeting and ad flight patterns.

For the same period in 2015, the company spent $23.1 million. Spend for the entire year was $39.3 million, and $14.7 million on this was deployed during Q4.

Therefore, sellers should look for last minute Q4 2016 dollars, especially with the launch of a new campaign.

Energizer has also spent $144,000 on 24 mobile ads (6.8 million impressions) and $63,000 on 22 video ads (4.9 million impressions). While mobile ads were placed mainly site direct (97%), the company's video ads have run through Crucial Interactive's ad network (24%), site direct (13%) and The Trade Desk (9%) for the most part (43% of placements for video ads are unknown, according to Pathmatics).
