In all seriousness, this is a fairly large restaurant chain, so family-sized helpings of traditional and digital revenue should be available - even though a barter agency appears to be handling most of the account. The same tipster told us that some digital dollars are coming out of Epsilon, Chi, too. We're still working to find out where TV dollars are going. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.

Opportunity: Recently appointed new marketing decision makers, coinciding with the departure of CMO Sara Bittorf to Bob Evans (research here). Darden marketing veteran Tim Hartmann is now marketing VP, and Family Dollar marketer Stephanie Tavares-Rance was recently made executive director of digital marketing and social media. We're still working to figure out which person, if either, is taking over the CMO function.
Either way, VAI. Agencies with restaurant experience should start pecking at DMs while potential changes to strategy and agency roster are made ahead of next year.

Since last September, $213,100 has garnered 51.6 million desktop impressions, all of which have run since February (see spend share right). Yahoo! Advertising and BlogHer have been the ad networks used, according to Pathmatics. AppNexus is the sole exchange impressions have flowed through.
Besides various Yahoo sites, top targeted publishers include weatherbug.com, sheknows.com, familyhandyman.com and cnn.com.
Combined, only about $9,000 has been spent on 1.6 million mobile and video impressions.
