Male Media Opps: Omaha Steaks enters juicy revenue period

Opportunity: With Christmas around the corner, mail-order steak season is upon us. largest campaign ever last year. Also, this is the core period when Omaha Steaks' small, direct response (DR)-heavy digital media budget should be in play.
Media Spend: $1.2 million went to measured media last year, about half of which supported newspaper ads. Most of the remainder went to search, according to Kantar Media.
TV Breakdown: $674,000 has been spent on national TV ads the last year (see breakdown right), up from $487,000 during the prior year period, iSpot.tv reports.
Digital Breakdown: Since last October, $26,000 has been spent on 7 million desktop impressions, 87% of which were purchased via ad network Google AdX + AdSense. Top targeted sites include delish.com, oola.com, yahoo.com food.com and allrecipes.com, per Pathmatics. Mobile and video activity has been almost non-existent the last year (only $800 reported for 229,000 mobile impressions; $0 for video).
